My male bulldog has a problem with his corkscrew tail. I beleive its infected and ive taken him to the vet alredy and they say just clean it with soap and water and dry it every day.. this isn't working and I was wondering if there was any home remedies for the tails...

Wed, May 30, 2007 - 3:42 AMHave you tried what is essentially a Stridex pad and an antibiotic ointment? The wipe should be used every 12 to 72 hours. The drying afterwards is a most important part. Can the dog lose weight?
Try Googling "Skin fold dermatitis". Our oldest guy has this problem, and with a little maintenance we've been able to contain it. -
